Saray Ossorio | Landscape Architect
Saray is an architect specialized in landscape architecture. Winner of various international awards, she worked for 8 years as a senior landscape architect at the international office of Henning Larsen Architects (Denmark). In recent years, she has been developing her work between Lanzarote and Copenhagen, founding the studio LA TARDE Paisaje in 2023.

César Manrique was an influential artist and architect from Lanzarote, known for his dedication to preserving the natural environment and integrating it with art. His works transformed the perception and development of Lanzarote, promoting a balance between progress and respect for nature.
Among his most notable works are the Jameos del Agua, an impressive cultural space built within a volcanic cave; the Mirador del Río, offering spectacular views of the Chinijo Archipelago; the Jardín de Cactus, showcasing an impressive collection of cactus species; and the César Manrique Foundation, located in his former home-studio, now serving as a cultural center.
Lanzarote is characterized by its unique volcanic landscape and commitment to environmental conservation. The island boasts an impressive diversity of natural parks and protected areas: the most famous being the Timanfaya National Park with its volcanic scenery. Additionally, the Natural Park of the Volcanoes and the Natural Monument of La Corona offer hiking routes and spectacular views.
